After drying, the rugs should be shaken out vigorously to straighten the pile. TIP: Clean the washing machine's lint filter after the wash cycle. An initial slight fluffing is normal due to the manufacturing process. However, this will diminish considerably after the first few washes. The bath rugs can be vacuumed with a hoover with low suction power and cleaned in between to remove fluff and straighten the pile again.
